Gently Rising Volume

Awake🐞 Bug Report

I'm really missing an option of progressively rising the alarm volume from zero to max over set amount of time, to gently wake me and not startle me (and my partner).

This would pair nicely with a wider selection of gentle alarm sounds.

    This feature hasn’t even been completed. The alarm doesn’t increase volume at all. When I asked support about this, they said I need to lower or increase the volume manually on my phone. I still don’t know if they were joking but I haven’t received an update or reply after that.

      A bug? This is a feature request, there’s no option to enable a gently rising volume, nor a volume setting.

        Hi Lucie,

        Since we do not control how the volume is displayed, by default, the sound files are created with increasing volume. Since there was a bug regarding this issue, we’ve declared this post a bug.
        Please check whether your general sound volume is maybe set too loud, as displayed in the attached screenshot.
