MCP: ChatGPT Workspace Agents
Could you please enable Structured MCP for ChatGPT Workspace Agents?
I really appreciate the work you’ve done adding MCP support to Structured. Being able to connect Structured directly with AI has genuinely changed my life and how I manage my energy day to day.
Workspace Agent support would be the last piece I’m missing.
Thanks for your continued development of this amazing app.

Hi! To connect the Structured MCP to your Workspace agent, you will need either ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace.
If you do have that already but still can't see Structured tool in the list, then it is most mostly like a workspace admin enablement issue, not something Structured needs to implement specifically for Workspace Agents. In this case, please reach out to your workspace admin.

Hi Linnea,
Thanks for the reply. I am the admin of our ChatGPT Business workspace, and Structured is already enabled and working in normal ChatGPT.
The issue is specifically with Workspace Agents. Structured does not appear under the “Add tool” options when configuring a Workspace Agent.
I also checked OpenAI’s current documentation. I can see documentation for managing apps at the workspace level, but I cannot find any separate admin setting for enabling an existing app specifically for Workspace Agents.
Could you point me to the specific workspace admin setting you are referring to?
If there isn’t a separate setting, is it possible that the Structured ChatGPT app currently isn’t exposed to Workspace Agents, even though it works in regular ChatGPT?
Thanks,
Logan

Thanks for sharing the additional information. Our backend developer is looking into this. ☺️

We looked into it, but we couldn’t find a clear reason why our Structured plugin isn’t listed in the Apps directory when adding an app to an Agent, especially since it does appear in the regular Apps and Plugins directory.
It may be that OpenAI only lists a selection of apps there rather than the full directory. This could also be why they provide the option to add a custom app. We tested that approach, and it works. So for now, you can manually create the Structured connection for your Agent as shown here:
1. Add a custom app:
2. Enter the following values:
One important note: make sure OIDC is disabled. Otherwise the connection won’t work correctly.
Hope this helps as a workaround for now!
