I’ve tried using AI for task editing, but having to think of a prompt every time doesn’t feel very intuitive... I often find myself thinking, ugh, this is a hassle. Maybe I just won’t use Structured today.
I was thinking it’d be super handy if we could just long-press to select tasks and then drag them up or down to adjust the time. Maybe a button could pop up in the top corner after selecting tasks with options like “shift time” → “+15 minutes.” That way, any fixed tasks wouldn’t move, and only the selected ones would adjust. I think this would make it much easier to tweak schedules without spending too much time on it.

It can be a bit wonky every now and then, for instance losing the color the tasks are assigned and if you tell it to keep the color it tells you it can’t do the color yet but keeps it anyway, but otherwise it’s more or less working. I am with Noel though marking the tasks and then shift/delete/edit them would not only be faster but also easier not to mention would have less privacy concerns.

The #1 thing I like about Sorted3 over Structured is how easy it is to batch edit your task because life happens and it should be easy to adjust our day. For Example, if I wake up 1hr 20mins later than expected, I should be able to shift all of my tasks by 1hr 30mins in a few seconds vs manually moving each item.

Exactly!! This is my main issue. One thing throws my day off and then it takes me an extra 10 minutes just to move everything! It seems like a simple thing to add.

We NEED this, I can't tell you how many times I've procrastinated something and then had to spend 5 minutes individually moving each and every task up. And by the time I'm done with that, I've already procrastinated more!

YES!! Exactly! Wasting additional time to account for the time we already wasted. It's so silly not to be able to do it!

Please add this! Plans often go awry, whether because we get distracted or because external factors interrupt tasks.
I end up having to manually move down each task and it's really time consuming. This app has really improved my life so thank you for all your hard work!

This is the absolute most important thing that keeps me from using Structured despite the wonderful UI versus Sorted3, which has become my GoTo-Daily-Planer at the moment, because – let's face it – we have to move more than one task at a time. That and the calendar view which lets me quickly move tasks to different days of the month and thus meta-plan my todos.

I’m honestly very surprised this hasn’t already been planned. I would consider this the most needed feature in my day-to-day life.
I have a morning routine that includes 8-10 different tasks and it’s a PITA to have to move each task individually if I need to shift my routine! I feel like I waste so much time shifting tasks!
Please please add this soon!

I would find this feature very useful on my laptop (Mac) and mobile (iPad and iPhone) versions of Structured!!!!
In the main calendar view, I often am tempted to drag my cursor/finger over a bunch of the calendar entries in order to move them elsewhere (e.g. later in the day, or to another day altogether).
I am envisioning a drag-to-select feature that resembles the GUI on Windows and Mac desktops (like the one where you drag a rectangle that highlights everything in it). I would find something to that effect super useful!

YES! That's exactly what I envisioned. A draggable select box that lets you quickly decide what you'd like to move simultaneously. You're talking my language!

This is an absolute essential addition. If I need to add a 30min item into the day or if a task runs over or even finishes early I should be able to add it in very easily without having to adjust every time.

PinnedThis is also possible on Structured Web, using our bulk-editing feature.
